DOYLE, Robert O. “Bob” – of Lapeer, age 83, died Saturday, November 24, 2018 at McLaren – Lapeer. Funeral services will be held 4PM, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Deacon Ray Ellingson officiating. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1PM until the time of service at 4PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Bob was born July 2, 1935 in Flint, Michigan to the late James and Emogene (Barlow) Doyle Sr. He graduated from Clio High School in 1953. Bob married Juanita Roberts on December in 1996. He worked for General Motors for many years. Bob also worked part time at Big Lots in Lapeer. He was a past member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge in Birch Run. Bob enjoyed hunting, playing baseball, and being outdoors. He especially loved bowling and cheering for his beloved Detroit Tigers.
Surviving are: Children, grandchildren, great grandchildren; Many stepchildren, step grandchildren, great step grandchildren and all of their respected spouses; Brothers: Jim Doyle, Bill Doyle, John Doyle, Lewie Doyle, Denny Doyle, and The Mickle family from Austin, Texas. He was also preceded in death by: Son, Bobby Doyle; Brothers: Tom, Chuck, Joe, Eddie, and sister, Mary Jean.
