TAYLOR, Hazel Irene - Age 90, of Fenton, died Friday, January 25, 2013 at Caretel Inns of Linden. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Fenton, 860 Leroy St., Fenton. Pastor Josh Gates, Pastor Ward Sipes, and Pastor David Boillat officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM Monday, January 28, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from Noon until the time of service Tuesday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to First Baptist Church of Fenton Memorial Fund. Mrs. Taylor was born February 19, 1922 in Fenton, the daughter of John and Edith (Corbit) Sipes. She married Robert B. Taylor September 22, 1941 in Fenton and he preceded her in death February 20, 2002. She had resided in Fenton her entire life. Mrs. Taylor was a member of First Baptist Church of Fenton for 37 years and the Possessor's Senior Citizens Group. Surviving are: 2 children, Dan and wife Ritta Taylor of Holly and Kathy and husband Mike Lager of Fenton; 6 grandchildren, DeeLynn, Rebecca, Sarah, Danielle, Amy, and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Austin, Marissa, Savannah, Celeste, Kristen, Deegan and Evelynn; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ralph, Robert, Lorene, John Sipes, Ward and wife Arlene Sipes; 2 sisters, Harriet and husband Glenn Taylor and Mary Sipes; 2 grandsons, Charles and Daniel Jr. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
