McDaniel, Janet L. - Age 72, of Flint, passed away December 30, 2019. Funeral services will be held 3PM Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel 8318 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 2PM until time of Service Saturday. Pastor Ron Emmerling officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery.Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Disabled American Veterans. Janet was born September 13, 1947 in Flint, the daughter of Joe and Bonita (Simon) McDaniel. She graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1965.She attended Mott Junior College where she received her LPN degree. Janet later attended Baker Automobile Technology School in Flint. She worked for General Motors in skilled trades. Janet is survived by her siblings, Dianna M. McDaniel, Joe W. McDaniel Jr., Jeannie L. Moore; brother in law, Freeman Moore; 2 nephews, James McDaniel, and Kevin Moore; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Mary McDaniel.
