Freddie D. Evans, age 65 of Attica, passed away on January 31, 2020. He was born in Flint, MI on January 15, 1955. Freddie was a chef at Luigi's Pizzeria in Flint for 30 years. He had a great sense of humor and was always making people laugh. Freddie enjoyed spending his free time fishing and hunting in Gladwin or playing Poker and Keno. He loved his family deeply and cherished his time spent with them, especially his grandchildren.
Freddie is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ramona Evans; three children, Amy (Mike Wine) Evans, Scottie (Jessica) Evans, Kenneth (Heather) Evans; six grandchildren, Crystal, Morgan, Gaige, Tobie, Parker, Jeremiah, and Arrianna; mother Vada (Don) Nickerson; brothers, Billie Joe (Jamie) Evans and Bill Joe Evans; sisters, Sil Gleim, Christina Miller, and Catherine (Jeff) Meltzer; best friends, Jack Lewis and Glen Corlew.
Freddie was preceded in death by his father Billie Joe Evans, daughter Kristal Evans; uncle Ken Qualls and uncle John Woodrow Evans.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, February 4th from 4-8PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th at 11 AM at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. Freddie's sister Sil Gleim will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Flint Memorial Park. |
