Nancy Lynn Barnhart
Age 71 of Owosso passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County. A Memorial Service will be held 5 PM Thursday, September 28, 2017, at New Lothrop Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ray Strawser officiating.
Nancy was the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Mohr) Eagan born in Saginaw, MI on January 19, 1946.
She married Eugene Eldren Barnhart in New Lothrop in 1994 and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2007.
Nancy worked at Chesaning Union Schools as a Para-pro for several years.
Nancy was a graduate of Clio High School and took several vocational classes. She was a loving wife and a devoted mother. She valued her family and remained a stay at home mother until her family had grown up.
Nancy is survived by her Son, Thomas (Nicole) Bates; grandchildren, Taylor Bates and Nick Bates; sisters, Cindy (Tim) Krause and Kay (Mike) Baxter; brothers, Walt (Mary) Eagan and Larry (Lynne) Eagan; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Gene; and infant daughter, Brenda Sue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
