SINGLEY, Lois Faye – Of Burton, age 72, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at McLaren–Flint. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Minister Bradley Richardson officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Disabled American Veterans. Visitation 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Lois was born in Salesville, Arkansas on March 15, 1940 and was a resident of the Flint area since 1960. Mrs. Singley was employed by the GM Metal Fab for 25 years, retiring in 2001.
Surviving are 5 children, Debra (Chris) Morisette, Thelma Rice, Jimmy Wells, Jeffery Wells and Lisa Premo; 5 grandchildren, Brian Wells, Chad Stafford, Michelle Wirth, Robby Wells and Krystin Premo; 3 great-grandchildren, Meghan, Matthew and Makayla Wells; 3 brothers, Leon (Judy) Whitehead, Marvin (Mavis) Whitehead and
Roy (Marion) Whitehead; 2 sisters, Carolyn Fergerson and Patsy (Charlie) Thomas; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Troy and Jessie Whitehead. Your condolences may be shared with the family at www.swartzfuneralhomeinc.com.
