Lucille Hope Newcombe, age 89, of Davison died June 26, 2020 at McLaren - Flint.
Lucille was born September 25, 1930 in Fostoria, Michigan to the late Glen and Margaret Barry. She married Curtis C. Newcombe on February 22, 1952 in Columbiaville, Michigan. Lucille enjoyed golfing, sewing, writing poems, painting, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Lucille is survived by her children: Curt (Melinda) Newcombe, Jeff (Kathy) Newcombe, Pam Barber, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister in-law- Betty Baker, special nephew Mike Newcombe, and close friend Cheryl. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis, daughters: Vicki Girard, Gail Slawter, siblings: Byron, Lumen, Arnold, and Merle.
A private funeral service will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville where friends and family may view the funeral via Live Stream at 12:55 PM by visiting our website and clicking on Lucille’s notice and scrolling down.
