He was a loving step-father to Willie Dotson. His love for his sisters and brothers never wavered through thick and thin. As a grandfather, he cherished all his grand and greatgrands. He was employed by AC Spark Plug-Flint Division and a member of UAW local 651, retiring in 1987, after 32 years of services. Willie accepted Christ at an early age at Beulah Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Artesia, Mississippi. Willie was a former member of Joy Tabernacle Church in Flint, MI., where he sat on the deacon board. Willie later returned to his family church Macedonia Baptist Church where he was a faithful member. Willie’s hospitality, etiquette and warmth of entertaining family and friends were his joy. Willie was a family man who welcomed and sheltered many of his family members who migrated from Artesia, MS. to Flint to pursue their dreams and opportunities for a better life.
