STURK, Norma - Of Flint, Age 84, winged her way to Heaven after a short battle with cancer Friday, September 25, 2015.
A Memorial Service will be held 1pm Saturday, October 3, 2015
at Eastwood United Methodist Church, 3312 Whittier, Flint,
Pastor Ralph Piper officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Eastwood United Methodist Church.
Visitation 11am until the time of the service at the church.
Norma was born in Flint on June 6, 1931, the daughter of Violet and John Hendricks. On June 23, 1951 she married Lloyd Sturk in Flint.
Surviving are husband, Lloyd;
children, Gary and wife Beverly, Brenda Sturk and Brian and wife Carrie;
grandchildren, Casey and wife Megan, Alexis, Kurtis and wife Jodi, Matthew and Michael;
great-grandchildren; Emilea, Henry and Skyler;
great-great-granddaughter, Acelyn;
brother, John Hendricks;
sisters, Marie Beaton and June Slavik;
and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara, son, Lloyd Leslie and 3 brothers, Sonny, Marvin and Jimmy.
