HAWRYLO, Mark John - Of Swartz Creek, age 66, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Visitation with a Knights of Columbus Rosary will be held at 9:30am Saturday at the church.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Saturday, November 3, 2018 at St. Mary’s Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek, Rev. Father Louis Ekka officiating.
Luncheon immediately following in the church hall.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Mark was born in Caro, Michigan on October 14, 1952, the son of Stanley and Mildred (Bavkovich) Hawrylo. Mark was employed at Buick, retiring in 2008 and was a member of UAW Local #599. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Swartz Creek where he ushered every Sunday. Mark loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He also loved to travel, hunt, riding his Harley and his morning breakfast with friends at J.T.’s Country Kitchen.
Surviving are children, Mark John II of Ohio, Matthew Mark and wife Becky of Swartz Creek and Luke John and wife Elizabeth of Swartz Creek;
grandchildren, Hope, Ariel, Brynn, Noah, Audrey and Evelyn;
brother, Robert and wife Diane of California;
special friend, Carol Caie;
and favorite pet bird, Alvin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
