SHERBINO, Rose (Curnow) – Of Davison, age 79, died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at The Oaks at Woodfield.
Funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Father Jay Gantz and Pastor Darrell Bailey co-officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 1-4pm and 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a memorial in memory of Rose at The Oaks of Woodfield.
Rose was born in Flint on April 23, 1935, the beloved daughter of the late William and Olive (Webster) Curnow. Rose retired from AC Spark Plug after 22 years of service. She was a devoted mother and friend. Rose enjoyed being with family and friends. She loved playing cards with her siblings.
Surviving are children, Linda (Mike) Jackson, Cindy (Bob) Popilek, and Jeff Sherbino, and preceded in death by their father, Donald D. Sherbino;
grandchildren, Michelle and Scott Wodowski, Brent and Ashton Jackson, Melissa and Matt McCarrick, Brandon and Kim Jackson, Marcy and Ken Kirby, Michael and Lisa Jackson, and Juliha Sherbino and Dan Chatters;
17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild;
siblings, Daisy Hall, Jim and Barb Curnow, and Grace Gray;
sisters-in-law, Fern Sherbino and Virlena Curnow;
and special friend, Robert Miller of 35 years whom she loved to travel with.
Also survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, William Curnow.
