CONNELLY II, Kenneth Joseph – Age 48, of Flushing, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 after a courageous battle with Melanoma Cancer surrounded by his loving family, friends and pets. Mr. Connelly was born December 30, 1964 in Bay City the son of Kenneth Joseph and Laurine Katherine Connelly. Kenneth received his Bachelors Degree in Business and Finance from Saginaw Valley State College. He enjoyed his family, friends, pets, bike riding and the outdoors. Kenneth had worked as a Production Supervisor for General Motors in Flint and Bay City. Surviving are his son, Josh Connelly, daughter, Kate Connelly, fiancée, Theresa Hurley and her children, Elizabeth and Brennan Cumby, mother, Laurine Connelly, brothers, Drs. Mark and wife Yvonne Connelly, Steven and wife Sue Connelly, sister, Lynne Connelly, many nieces, nephews, friends, and his pets Jack and Allie. Mr. Connelly was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Joseph Connelly I. Friends may visit the family from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Reigle Funeral Home. A Prayer and Memorial Service will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Rd., Burton, MI. Fr. Steve Anderson will officiate.
