ELLIS, Ruby N. - Of Flint, age 93, died Monday, June 9, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI.

Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice.
Visitation 12-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ruby was born in Kennett, Missouri on March 24, 1921. On February 16, 1937, she married Henry Ellis in Missouri. Ruby retired from General Motors with 28 years of service. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening and playing penny slot machines.
Surviving are children, Donald and wife Phyllis Ellis of Genesee, Judy Thompson of Otisville and Linda and husband Doug Haines of Flint;
Nine grandchildren, Melinda and Jim Walker, Tom and Trish Ellis, Bob and Kandi Ellis, Wendy Watson, Chad and Jen Watson, Chris Haines, Greg Mead, Don and Amy Bell and Shelly and Pat McGough;
18 great-grandchildren;
one great-great-grandchild;
and son-in-law, Bob Watson.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1989 and daughters, Barbara Bell and Shirley Watson.
