STONE, Ronney "Rocky" L. – age 66 of Flushing, MI passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 4PM-8PM and again on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 11AM-1PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 1PM at Reigle Funeral Home – Sunset Chapel – 5501 W. Pierson Rd. Flushing, MI. Fr. Jay Gantz officiating. Final place of rest will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Rocky was born on July 13, 1950 in Flint, MI to John and Berndette (Sweers) Stone. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and the Army Reserve. Rocky worked at General Motors for over 30 years before his retirement. He loved to work on cars, especially his 1960 El Camino. Rocky was an avid gun collector and liked to go hunting and fishing with his brothers, cousins, and nephews. He absolutely loved to talk and could spend hours telling one story. He also had a sense of humor with a hint of sarcasm. Rocky’s grandchildren and the time he spent with them were very important to him. He is survived by his children, Dawn (Bret) Bitzer, Amber (Jeff) Knieriem; mother, Berndette Stone; grandchildren, Justin, Brienna, Lauryn, and Logan; brothers, John (Sheila) Stone, Rodney (Paula) Stone, Roger Stone, and Raymond Stone, and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Roger Stone and nephew, Matthew Stone. Those desiring may make contributions to Wounded Warrior Project.
