Alice Ruth Clase, age 92 of Flint, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. She was born on November 4, 1927 in Munising, Michigan to parents Thomas and Alice (Anderson) Carpenter. Alice was a faithful woman who dedicated her life to the Catholic Church. She was very well known at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Swartz Creek for her dedication to Mother Mary and for her work with the Blue Army. She was also a loving and devoted mother for her children. Alice is survived by her daughter, Janet (Gene) Dubuc; grandchildren: Susan (Bryan) Marrow, Thomas (Amanda) Dubuc, Annette (Ben) Ringwelski, Kimberly (Michael) Brisson, Jennifer (Mike) Petrach, Ryan (Susan) Clase, and Lynn (Denny) Minard; 14 great grandchildren; sisters: Gloria Dean and Shirley Skinner; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Floyd Clase; sons: Danny and Gary Clase; siblings: Ethel Clase, Paul Carpenter, Rita Pascoe, Joseph Carpenter, Barbara Sherman, Pearl Parsell, William Carpenter, Thomas Carpenter, and June Sarvello. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for the immediate family at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Father Ken Coughlin celebrating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 4-8pm. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the Genesee County Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Alice’s name. |
