SHEFFER, Kenneth E. - Of Swartz Creek, age 69, died Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at St. John Oakland Hospital-Madison Heights.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 West Bristol Road, Flint
Pastor Rob Prince officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 2-4pm and 5-8pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Saturday until the time of the service at the church.
Kenneth was born in Davenport, Washington on August 23, 1946, the son of the John and Rena (Greenwood) Sheffer. On May 31, 1969, he married Elizabeth Steward. Kenneth was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene. He loved singing in his church choir, serving others, golf, leading Boy Scouts and his little dog, Ginger.
Mr. Sheffer was employed at Ascension.
Surviving are wife, Betty;
daughters, Lisa (Brandon) Flowney and Pam (Matt) Young;
9 grandchildren; brother, Denny; sisters, Becky and Nancy.
