NUGENT, Sherry – of Clio, age 73, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Wellspring Lutheran Services in Frankenmuth. Funeral services will be held 12PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial to follow in West Vienna Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 12PM.
Sherry was born March 5, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to the late William and Clara (Clark) Boyd. She graduated from Clio High School in 1963. Sherry obtained a Nursing Degree from Charles Stewart Mott Community College. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and baking.
Surviving are: Children: Tracey (Anita) Nugent and Monique Nugent; Grandchildren: Jason Potter and Yonique Nugent; 3 great grandchildren: Mason, Amani, and Anistyn; Special friend: Melanie Smallidge; Siblings: Dick (Marge) Boyd, Gary (Marsha) Boyd, Jean Bryant, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, Daniel Nugent. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Melanie Smallidge and Anita Nugent for their compassionate care of Sherry.
