VANORDER, Jerry W. “Sach” – Of Gladwin, formerly of Flint and New Lothrop, age 64, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Clare. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating. Cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Visitation 2-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Jerry was born in Flint, Michigan on August 2, 1947, the son of Harold and Helen (Ward) VanOrder. Mr. VanOrder was employed by GM Powertrain North for 40 years. Surviving are wife, Debrah; three daughters, Wendy and husband Dwight Money, Tracy and husband Dan Yates, Brandy and husband Travis Kelly; ten grandchildren, Dwight, Clyde, Tabitha, Zachary, Carissa, Kadie, Michael, Olivia, Laina and Cal; one sister, June Ex and family; several nieces and nephews.
