WESOLOWSKI (SITKO), Stella F. – Of Mt. Morris, age 92, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at MediLodge of Montrose.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2016 at All Saints Catholic Church G-4063 West Pierson Road, Flint, Reverend Monsignor Richard J. Groshek officiating.
Burial in Flushing Cemetery.
Visitation 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Memorial Service will be conducted by the Clio VFW 1452 Auxiliary at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wesolowski will be at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the Mass.
Stella was born in Flint, Michigan on December 6, 1923, the daughter of Andrew and Pauline (Schaffer) Sitko.
She married Joseph Wesolowski on August 17, 1946 at All Saints Catholic Church in Flint. She attended All Saints Catholic School, Emerson Junior High School and was a 1941 graduate of Flint Northern High School. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Polish National Alliance Group 1186 and VFW Post 1452 Auxiliary.
She liked to play cards and bowl.
Mrs. Wesolowski was employed by AC Spark Plug Division in catering.
Surviving are three sons, Mitchell and wife Mary of Lynchburg, Virginia,
Joseph, Jr. of Chelsea, Michigan,
Alexis and wife Helen of Clio;
three grandsons, Kevin and wife Laura, Matthew and Luke;
three granddaughters, Rebecca and husband Joey Canuel, Stephanie and Jill Wesolowski;
eight great-grandchildren, Ella, Brent, David, Scott, Erik, DeAndre, Charles and Emily;
three sisters, Leona Rykulski of Flint,
Virginia and husband Robert Vargo of Edenville, MI and
Irene Taylor of Reed City;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, on September 16, 2014; parents, Andrew and Pauline Sitko; two brothers and a sister.
