STEPHENS, Mary Ann - of Davison, age 81, passed away February 6, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, February 10, 2017 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint; Pastor Gary L. Beck officiating. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, 1-3 and 5-8 PM Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and 10-11 AM Friday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church or SAD, Shelter Animal Donations.
Mary Ann was born in Flint, MI on January 27, 1936, daughter of the late Frederick and Anna (Cummings) Rohmann. She married David Stephens on October 15, 1954. Mary Ann graduated from Kearsley Community Schools in 1954 and received her Master’s Degree from the University of Michigan. She retired from Kearsley Community Schools in 1994. Mary Ann was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church for 55 years and belonged to a canasta card club for 63 years.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, David; children, Jerry Sue McFarland, Cheryl Tabor, Mike (Cindy) Stephens, Debbie Stephens, Tracee (Bryant) Walker; four grandchildren, Amanda Smith, Nicholas, Hannah and Emma Walker; two great grandchildren, Hailey and Luke Smith; sisters, Kathleen (Dave) Winemiller, Sharon (Ken) Wright. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jerry Lynn Rohmann.
