George Granville Loudermilk, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2020. George was born on February 26, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee to George & Ruby Loudermilk. George married the love of his life Nancy Ulrich on July 4, 1959. George was employed at Fisher Body Ternstedt on Coldwater Road in Flint, and then started his own business; Automotive Machine Shop. George loved Jesus, his family, his friends, and his church. He was a lifetime churchman in the Church of the Nazarene. He served as Sunday school Superintendent, NYI President, Bus Driver, on the Church Board, and taught Sunday school for 55 years. George was a member of the Family Community Church of the Nazarene. George loved restoring his 1957 Ford Ranchero. He also enjoyed riding his Honda Gold Wing motorcycle, snowmobiling, and vacationing out west in his RV with family & friends.
George is survived by wife Nancy of 61 years, sister Patricia Jamrozik, Sons Gary (Linda) Loudermilk, & Jack (Carol) Loudermilk, Daughter De’Anna (Dan) Hickey, 7 grandchildren, Justin, Donald, Chad, Michael, Jordan, Joshua, Jackson, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Rebecca Trobaugh (2015), son Jamie Tardiff (1977), father George Loudermilk (1992), mother Ruby Loudermilk (1962).
Please join us in celebrating George’s life Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Family Community Church of the Nazarene (5366 S. State Road) Goodrich Michigan. Visitation will be from 10am-noon. Celebration service will be held at noon. Pastor Daryl Blank officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Family Community Church of the Nazarene “Building Fund”.
