GUGLE, Donna I. - Of Flint, age 77, went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Central Church of the Nazarene, G-1261 West Bristol Road, Flint,
Pastor Glen Gardner officiating.
Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery in LeRoy, Michigan at 1 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Central Church of the Nazarene.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Mrs. Donna Gugle will be at the church 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
Donna was born in LeRoy, MI on November 13, 1934, daughter of Howard and Eva (Olson) Stieg. On August 21, 1954, she married Dale Gugle in Reed City, MI. Donna retired from Citizens Bank and after her retirement, she was involved part time as a secretary with her husband’s business, Investors Mobile Home Brokers. She loved baking and cooking and was very devoted to her husband, family and her church. Donna was a member of Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, where she was very active.
Surviving are husband, Dale;
children, Darla and husband Steve Carlson of Kaleva, MI, Dave and wife, Dominique Gugle of Bloomingdale, MI;
grandchildren, Nicole and husband Gary Kravis, Steven, Jessie and Faith;
great-grandson, Owen;
sister, Sharon Kilmer of Kalamazoo;
nieces, Paula Ernst and Marla Holmes and their families; many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
