KUSKY, Edward W. – of Sears, formerly of Clio, age 79, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Rev. Fr. Bob McGraw officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Monday from 1-8PM where a parish vigil service will be held at 7:30 PM. He will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until time of mass at 10:30 AM.
Ed was born April 30, 1933 in Flint to the late Walter and Margaret (Thomas) Kusky. He lived in Sears the past 15 years coming from Clio. Ed married Glenna Boroff on April 25, 1953 in Flint. He owned and operated Ed Kusky House Moving and Raising. He was a former member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Mr. Kusky enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ed loved life and lived it to the fullest. He knew no strangers and enjoyed teasing everyone.
Surviving are: wife, Glenna; 7 children, Sue (Rick) Bully of Clio, Sharon Kusky of Sears, Karen (Bruce) Ferguson of Tawas, Judy (Bob) Borchardt of Brooklyn, Edward Jr. (Peggy) Kusky of Mt. Morris, Barb (Dennis) Lucas of Davison, Bill (Connie) Kusky of Mt. Morris; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Albert Kusky of Clio; several nieces and nephew.
