WILDEY, Warren H. – Of Flint, age 75, died Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Melody Gardens.
Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017
at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Nathan Allen officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to Michigan Heart Association.
Warren was born in Bay City, Michigan on October 19, 1941, the son of the late Harold and Jennie Wildey and was a resident of Flint since 1966. Since 1997, he wintered in Chandler, Arizona and spent many summers at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes.
On March 2, 1963 he married Marilyn Staudacher. She preceded him in death on January 19, 2017, after 54 years of marriage.
Warren was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church.
He was active in the Michigan Sports Buggy Association and was very instrumental in assuring off road vehicle use at Silver Lake Sand Dunes.
Mr. Wildey retired from Buick in 1997, after 31 years of service, at the age of 56.
Surviving are daughter, Michelle and her daughter, Teagan;
son, Scott and wife Kara and their children, Nickolas, Brianna, Jacob and Brayden.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley, Joyce and Ardith.
