IRWIN, Barbara – Of Swartz Creek, age 87, died Monday, June 1, 2020 at her residence.
Private service will be held at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Daniel Botsford officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Barbara was born on August 5, 1932, the daughter of the late Manley and Thelma (Bryant) Bartlett.
She was very active with the Humane Society of Genesee County, the Golden Retriever Rescue and the Companion Cat Rescue.
Surviving are son, Donald David (Carol) Irwin;
daughter, Cheryl Lynn and mother, Barbara were each others best friends;
grandchildren, Bradley A. (Tammy) Irwin,
Brooke N. (Adam) Beardslee and
Brian G. Irwin;
great-grandchildren, Olivia M. Irwin and Avery J. Beardslee;
cats and dogs, past and present.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald R. Irwin
