CRAINE, Anna L. (Hadden) - Of Grand Blanc, age 91, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Hospice House of Shiawassee.
Funeral service will be held 12:30pm Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 2-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Anna was born in Flint on January 6, 1928, the daughter of the late DeFay and Rosetta (Robbins) Hadden. On February 20, 1946, she married Basil Craine in Clio, Michigan. Anna worked at Woolworths Dime Store, Turnstedt, Flint City Hall and Pepsi Cola. Anna was also a licensed manicurist and a baker at Café du Jour. She also worked as a recess monitor at a schoolhouse in Elk Rapids. Anna lived in Kewadin for 5 years and vacationed in Florida. She spent many years golfing and even had a hole in one. Golfing with her husband made her the happiest. Anna loved being surrounded by her family. Anna attended United Brethren Church in Flint. Anna considered everyone she met her family.
Surviving are daughter, Linda Craine Salsini;
Grandchildren, Michelle Dumler, Todd Craine (Damian), Tricia Craine, Melissa Kirby (Craig), Tiffany Salsini, and Troy Craine (Kelly);
Great-grandchildren, Brett Adkins, Brandon Dumler (Brittany), Tyler Webb, Travis Webb, Dylan Craine and Jacob Craine;
Great-great-grandchildren, Brady Dumler, Brylie Dumler, Brittan Dumler, Breslin Dumler and Reagan Webb;
Beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Basil Craine, children, Gary Craine (Debe) and Mary Ann Craine, brothers, Charles, Howard, Ralph, Stanley, Raymond and Robert, sisters, Shirley Burke and Phyllis Vock and many dear friends.
Thank you to U of M Doctors and Nurses, Arbor Hospice, Reverence Hospice and Hospice House of Shiawassee County. A special thank you to Lynn Jacobs, hairdresser of 30 years, and to Anna’s eye doctor, Dr. Gardner.
