HAWES, CLAUDIA M. - Of Flint, age 60, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at McLaren-Flint.
Cremation has taken place.
Claudia was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 9, 1963, the daughter of the late John and Blanche (Rees) McClelland.
She married Doug Hawes in 1984.
She made a friend everywhere she went.
She loved her children’s sporting events and volunteered at the school.
Claudia loved planting flowers, watching wild life and was Past President of the VFW. She also cared for the elderly.
Surviving are husband, Doug Hawes;
children, Doug Hawes, Jr., Stephanie (Steve) Haller, Phillip Hawes and Barbara Hawes;
siblings, Craig (Julie) McClelland, Vicki (Tom) Bevel;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John McClelland; sister, Gail (Dennis) Butts and her twin sisters.
