CHURCHILL, JANICE (Kay) – Of Grand Blanc passed away on May 25th, 2020 at the age of 74. Kay was born April 1, 1946 to the late Elmer and Nevlyn MacAlpine of Davison.
Kay is survived by her sister, Sondra Hansen of South Dakota, her sons, Matthew of Turkey, Michael and wife, Elise of Rochester Hills, and her three grandchildren, William, Lillian, and Abigail, in addition to many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert (Bob) MacAlpine of Burton, sisters, Sue Haas of Arizona, and Shirley Down of Flint.
After graduating from Davison High School in 1964, she worked at Consumers Energy, Flint for 24 years, retiring in 1988. Kay remained active as a volunteer for the Multiple Sclerosis Society for over 13 years, as well as maintaining a strong presence within the Anchor Community Free Will Baptist Church.
Kay loved spending time with her family, church family, friends, and her dog, Nikki, and enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and working in her yard.
