Scrimger, Diane – of Grand Blanc, age 71, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 surrounded by her family. Diane was a loving wife to John for over 50 years and mother to Jeff, Gregg (Colette), and Brad (Kim). She was a grandmother to Megan (Dustin) Oxford, Jack, Bradden, James, Maureen & Maeve and a great-grandmother to Malayla and Colton. She was the sister of Bill (Joanne) Welke and Janelle Welke and the sister-in-law to Jim (Dianne) Scrimger, George (Carol) Scrimger, Glenn (Jorja) Scrimger, and Patricia (Harold) Garrison and an aunt to many. Diane was an avid reader, loved to travel and spend time up north. She loved her family and enjoyed spending most of her time with family and friends. She was taken too soon and will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 2nd, with visitation starting at 9:30 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Rd., Flint with Rev. G. Patrick England officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McFarlan Library Improvement Fund, c/o City of Grand Blanc, 203 E. Grand Blanc Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48439.
