MATTUCCI, Edward W. – Of Grand Blanc, age 76, died Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Deacon Ron Kenney officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Edward was born in Buffalo, New York on October 2, 1940, the son of Joseph and Frances Mattucci.
He served in the U.S. Army.
His hobbies included playing the guitar and singing, as well as golf, bowling and spending time with his puppy, Angel.
Mr. Mattucci retired from GM Truck & Bus and was a member of UAW Local #598.
Surviving are his children, Richard (Janice) Mattucci,
Susan Mattucci (Deniese) and
Nina Mattucci
5 grandchildren, Jessica, Brandon, Doug, Alyssa and Miya;
sisters, Francine and husband Larry Dispenza of New York,
Sandy and husband Wayne Worthington of New York;
brother, Joe and wife Barb Mattucci of New York;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife, Ann; his daughter, Karen; brothers, Al and Bill.
