Howse, Margie of Flushing, age 76, died Saturday, October 15, 2016, at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Trinity Assembly of God, 4363 W. Mt. Morris Rd. Mt. Morris, MI 48458. Rev. Bill Christensen will officiate. Cremation will follow funeral services. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Rossell Funeral Home and 11 a.m. Thursday at the church until the time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Margie's mother or to the American Diabetes Association.

Margie was born in Terrel, Oklahoma on May 18, 1940, the daughter of Herman and Elva ( Brown) Buchanan. She was a God-loving woman and was a member of Trinity Assembly of God in Mt. Morris. Margie was artistic and creative with many things, especially oil-painting and sewing. She was an avid sports fan, including the Detroit Tigers and Michigan State. Margie enjoyed bowling, keeping up with her friends on social media, animals, and her elephant collection. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Margie is survived by her children, Donna Howse of Dallas, Texas, Dwight Howse of Midland; grandchildren, Jolie, Joey, Annabell, Georgia, Sylvia; former spouse, Lawrence Howse; brothers, Noel and Lou Buchanan, Don and Frankie Buchanan, James and Tammy Buchanan; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
