Perez, Jr., Ramon age 79 of Flint, passed away Sunday Oct. 13, 2019. A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Bethlehem Temple Church of the Apostolic, 3401 M. L. King Ave, Flint, MI 48505. Family will receive visitors from 10 am until time of service at noon. Minister Quartus Henderson officiating. Cremation to follow service. Ramon was born November 17, 1939 in Mercedes, TX. He is one of 8 children; Oscar, Juan, Francisco, Adalberto, Jesus (Chuy), Adrain, and Dora. He worked as a press operator at F & E Manufacturing and as a lunch provider at King Elementary School. Ramon was joined in marriage to Angelita Garcia in Donna, TX. They moved from Donna in 1967 to Flint, MI, where they had two children; daughter Frances Perez-Nance (Marcell) and son Ramon Perez III (Helen). He had 47 exciting years with Angelita until she was called home on Jan. 13, 2014. Ramon enjoyed going to Hasselbring Senior Center, where he played bingo and card games. He loved his movies and music, but most of all he loved going to church. He attended Bethlehem Temple for 30 plus years. Ramon leaves to cherish his children Frances and Ramon, nieces and nephews Amanda (Michael), John (Johnnie Mae), Pablo (Charlene) Rommie; grandchildren Lamarco (Amanda) Tyrone (Riana) Tabria (William), R'trice, Rozlyn; great grandchildren Bricen, Zarrieon, Peyton, Vera, Gisele, Nori and Amara. He was preceded in death by his parents Ramon Perez Sr. and Isabella Olivrez. Special thanks to friends and family, Bethlehem Temple church members, Hasselbring Senior Center and Hartland Hospice. |
