BUNNELL, Carol L. – Of Swartz Creek, age 61, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Wally Rose officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 12-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Carol was born in Flint, Michigan on April 1, 1951, the daughter of
Carl and Agatha “Gay” (Turbeville) Young.
On November 29, 1969 she married Danny Bunnell in Flint.
She was very active in Cub Scout Pack #279.
Carol retired from Flint Community Schools in June of 2010.
She enjoyed taking pictures, camping, scrapbooking, crocheting and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Wendi Browder of Flint;
Daniel and wife Jenny Bunnell of Flint;
grandchildren, Alex, Logan, Brennen and MaKenna;
mother, Agatha “Gay” Young;
sisters, Linda Heiney, Janet and husband Scott Chima;
“adopted daughter”, Amber Latchana;
best friend, Mary Keefer
sister-in-law, Nancy Bunnell.
many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny, on February 23, 2013 and father, Carl Young.
