ZBICIAK, Katherine W. – of Davison, age 87, passed away March 8, 2015 at Medilodge of Grand Blanc. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11 AM Friday, March 13, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery at 2:45 PM Friday. Visitation will be 12-2 & 4-8 PM Thursday and 10-11 AM Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Building Fund or Mid-Michigan Land Conservancy P. O. Box 154, Okemos, MI 48805-0154.
Katherine was born in Flint, MI on November 22, 1927, daughter of the late Ralph and Susie (Blakeley) Boze. She married Raymond Zbiciak in 1953 and he preceded her in death in 1966. Katherine worked at AC Spark Plug from 1946-1988.
Katherine is survived by her children, Mark (Nancy), Robert (Ellen); grandchildren, Monica, Nicole, Adam, Mackenzie, Makayla, Lauren, Shelby; sister, Phyllis (Junior) Turner. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Murphy; sisters, Sue Christenson and Helen Boze.
