Age 59, of Flint, passed away on August 30, 2024. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2500 North Franklin Road, Flint, MI 48506. Father Dennis Spitzly to officiate. Family will be present to receive friends from 10:00am until the start of the service at 11:00am. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Lori’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Lori Renee Garcia was born on November 30, 1964, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Erminia (Martinez) Groves Jr. Lori was a genius in the kitchen and loved cooking, particularly authentic Mexican cuisine. Lori also enjoyed listening to music, watching sports, and spending time with her beloved family.
Surviving Lori are her two sons; Ryan and Dylan Garcia, her brothers; James (Ruby) Groves III, Anthony (special friend – Clarissa Molina) Groves, her grandmother, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Lori is preceded in death by her parents, and her son; Jordan Garcia. |
