TALLENT, Isabell M. (Dinnan) – of Davison, age 84, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Curtis Lilly officiating. Interment will be in Smith-Hill Cemetery. The family will welcome visitors from 11 AM until the time of service on Saturday, January 18, 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Isabell’s memory.
Isabell was born in Flint, MI on December 6, 1940, daughter of the late James and Marian (Walworth) Dinnan. She married Alvis Tallent on June 11, 1960, and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2016. Isabell enjoyed working at Whitey’s for 13 years. In her younger years, she was a great roller-skater. Isabell also liked to bowl. She was active with the Eastern Stars. Isabell had a giving heart and loved to share her talents by volunteering to help others in a variety of ways. Her children and grandchildren loved her dearly and will remember her as a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Most notably, Isabell was a fiercely dedicated Christian.
Isabell is survived by her loving sons, Gary (Lori) Tallent and Tony (Stefni) Tallent; grandchildren, Zachary Tallent, Brandilyn Tallent, Courtney (Brandon) Tallent-Brewer, James Tallent, Gabriel Amey and Alivia Amey; siblings, Kenneth (Joanne) Dinnan, Philip (Mary) Dinnan, Alfred Dinnan, Norma (Darwin) Dujik, Henry Dinnan; and many other loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe, Mike, and Louie Dinnan; and a sister, Patricia Barlow.
