Burchfield, Max James grew up in Flushing and Fenton, currently of Flint, age 21, died Thursday, November 5, 2015, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Flint. Fr. Roy Horning will officiate. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church. A Vigil will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flint Odyssey House.
Max was born in Flint, Michigan on August 30, 1994, the son of Angela (Burchfield) Moore and James Burchfield. He loved sports and fishing. Max had the most beautiful smile, a big, kind heart, and a good sense of humor. He was very caring and loved animals, especially the family golden retriever, Maggie, whom he named.
Max is survived by his mother, Angela (Kevin) Moore; father, James Burchfield; sister, Alexandrea Burchfield; step-sister, Riley Moore; step-brother, Logan Moore; sister, LeeAnn Burchfield; nephew and niece, Jaylon and Jaleesa Burchfield; grandparents, Marian Rosa and Dave Pierson; uncles, Chuck and Andy Rosa; aunt, Veronica Rosa; aunt, Kristi (Charles) Lewis; many cousins, friends, and beloved golden retriever, Maggie. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Darla and Norris Burchfield. |
