ZACHERY, Robert Wayne – of Clio, age 75, died Monday, May 13, 2019 at his home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 16, 2019 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Robert was born February 21, 1944 to the late Boss and Gladdis (Hall) Zachery. He grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Southwestern High School with the class of 1962. On July 17, 1970 he married Linda Easterwood and she preceded him in death on February 15, 2009. Prior to his retirement in 1999, Robert worked as a Tool and Die Maker for GM with 38 years of service. He enjoyed drawing, crosswords, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children, Tammy (Eric) Zuker, Scott (Kasey) Zachery, Amy (David) Montalvo; Grandchildren, Bobby (Sam) Myers, Samantha (Tyler) Walter, Michael Murray, Joseph Zachery, Rylee Zachery; Great Grandchildren, Emilynn Walter, Cecilia Walter; Siblings, Jimmy (Debbie) Zachery, Nancy Lyons; several nieces and nephews.
