MELESKI LAWRENCE M. “Larry” age 78, died Friday, August 5, 2016 at his home. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2016. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 N. Cherry St., Flushing , MI. Fr. Roy Horning officiating. Interment at St. Robert Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a sharing time at 6:30 P.M. and a prayer at 7:30 P.M. at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing MI and visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Church before Mass.
Larry was born December 12, 1937 in Saginaw, MI to parents Casimir and Victoria (Kaspzyk) Meleski. Larry was a man of great faith with his love for Jesus, and a devout member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church where he was an active member of the Men’s Club. Larry was a commercial real estate developer in the Flint area for many years and a member of the Flint Rotary and the Flushing Valley Country Club. He loved to spend time at his “Torch Treasure” cottage on Torch Lake with his loving wife Nancy, family and friends, and his cherished dog Max. Larry graduated with his B.A. and his M.B.A. from Michigan State University and was a member of the MSU Alumni Association. Surviving are wife Nancy; children Ellen (Floyd) Evans, Beth (Ron) Wilcox, Jeff (Steve Markov) Meleski, Andy (Rhonda) Meleski; grandchildren Tyler, Erin, Ian, Adam, Jimmy, Bayla, Jonah; brother Len (Dolores) Meleski; several nieces and nephews; his dog Max.
