MILLER, Kelsey Lela – of Flint, MI, age 24, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Hopewell General Baptist Church, 5162 North Belsay Road, Flint, MI 48506; Pastor Bud Welton officiating. The family will receive visitors 3-8 PM Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Hopewell General Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Kelsey was born in Flint, MI on May 5, 1993, daughter of Brian and Vicky (Tanner) Miller. She graduated from Kearsley High School Class of 2011 and Saginaw Valley State University Class of 2017. Kelsey was enrolled in the Master of Social Work program at Saginaw Valley State University. She was employed as a CNA with Maple Woods Manor in Clio, MI. Kelsey loved road trips, adventures and spending time with her family, friends and her cat, Zoe.
Kelsey is survived by 2 sisters, Brittany and Rachel Miller; maternal grandparents, George (Karen) Tanner; feline companion, Zoe; canine companion, Jazzy; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Paul (Carolyn) Miller; maternal great-grandmother, Lela Tanner; 2 feline companions, Baby and Tico.
