Sharon Lynne (Porath) Kelly of Grand Blanc passed away Monday July 20, 2020 at her home surrounded by Family. Sharon was born May 26, 1938 in Midland, Michigan. Daughter of Arnold and Mauvie (Lingle) Porath. Graduated Flint Nothern High School in 1956. Attended University of Michigan, receiving her Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Education with honors in 1960. She began teaching in the Flint School District in 1961. Sharon married her highs school sweetheart, Kenneth Moore Kelly in 1961. They celebrated 59 years of marriage in May. Surviving her in addition to her husband Kenneth Kelly is son Kristopher Kelly, and his wife Cheryl Kelly and son Shawn Kelly and his former wife Tiffany. 8 grandchildren, William Oliver III, Kaila Cooper, Elyssa Kelly, Kaitlyn Oliver, Kristen Kelly, Kolton Kelly, Emily Kelly, and Kendra Kelly. 3 Great-Grandchildren, Sophia Oliver, Ariana Cooper, and Isabella Oliver. One brother Darrell Porath, and nephew Scott Porath and his wife Porath.
Funeral Services will be held 11am Thursday, July 23 at Kirkridge Presbyterian Church 8070 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc MI 48438
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22 from 3 to 8pm at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI 48439
