Petiprin, Juliana H. of Flushing, age 88, went to be with her Lord, Monday, December 3, 2018, at McLaren-Flint. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2018, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Fr. Anthony Brooks will officiate. Burial will be at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of the Mass.
Juliana was born in Flint, Michigan on October 16, 1930, the daughter of Andrew and Juliana (Pollack) Matsko. She married Kayo John Petiprin on August 4, 1956. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1991. Juliana worked as an LPN for many years, retiring from the Flint Children’s Center in 1998, and Flint Pediatrics in 2001. She taught medical billing at the Mott Adult Education Program. Juliana was an active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church for over 25 years. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, shopping, traveling and was a wonderful seamstress.
Juliana is survived by her son, Clifford and wife Veronica Petiprin; grandchildren, Kerilyn and Cody Petiprin; niece, Kimberly Matsko; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Matsko and mother-in-law, Hazel Millington.
