Ms. Lois E., age 82, of Linden, died peacefully January 18th, 2014, at Tanglewood of Fenton. She was born in 1931 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Ralph and Viola (nee: Link) Guenther. She was a graduate of Lakeland College in Minnesota, who went on to be the Christian Education Director at Congressional Church in San Diego, CA. She then taught 1st grade in Akron, OH, and retired after 25 years of teaching. Ms. Guenther traveled extensively worldwide. She enjoyed singing and competing with the Sweet Adelines. She is the loving sister of the late Ralph Guenther Jr. and the late Jean Browder; sister in law of Robert Browder; dear aunt of Kathy (Al) Baker, Scott Browder, Jay Browder, Melissa Erwin, Shari (John) Foguth, Trish (Brian) Sheedy, Jane (Ted) Rodsantsson, and Mark (Desry) Guenther. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and one great great nephew. She was a special aunt who was loved by all her nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 pm until the time of her funeral service at 7:00 pm, at the Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main Street, Fenton. Private interment services will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Linden, MI. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Tanglewood of Fenton. |
