Von Fintel, Edith F. (Hawes) Age 91, died April 27, 2015 at Cranberry Park in Clio, Michigan. Upon her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on May 3rd, 2015 from 1:00pm till 4:00pm with a short service at 2:00pm followed by dinner, at the Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
Edith was born on September 18, 1923 in Barton City, Michigan. She was married on June 29, 1946 to Edward H. Von Fintel in Flint, Michigan who preceded her in death in 1999.
She has 2 sons Ronald (Christine) of Clio and Donald (Christine) of Estero, Fl. 3 grandchildren Adam of Clio, Andrew (Jennifer) of Davison, and Chelsea (Jim) of Royal Oak, sister in Law - Jean Hawes, special niece and best friend Carol Hill, and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Walter, Clarence, twin brother Edwin, ½ sisters Nellie, Mary and Pearl. The Family would like to extend a sincere Thank You to the Staff at Cranberry Park and Heartland Hospice. In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Barton City, Michigan 48705. |
