MacNeil, Gary M. of Flushing, age 70, died Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at McLaren-Flint. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Rossell Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be 12 noon Wednesday until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Private interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Gary was born in Flint, Michigan on September 30, 1949, the son of Paul and Jeanette (Swider) MacNeil. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and received the Bronze Star. Gary worked as a car salesman for many years. He enjoyed golfing and was a longtime member at Flushing Valley Country Club. Gary loved Corvettes and owned a few over the years. He was also an avid U of M fan.
Gary is survived by his wife, Ramona; step-son, Ron and wife Megan Blunt; grandsons, Grant and Alex and his beloved dog, Bee Gee.
