BAGNALL, Richard Arthur "Dick" - Age 77, of Fenton, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Fr. David Harvey officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 3-8 PM Monday; and 11 AM until the time of service Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Heart to Heart Hospice or Wounded Warrior Project.
Dick was born May 17, 1941 in Detroit, the son of Russell and Louise (deGuise) Bagnall. He was a 1959 graduate of Fenton High School and received a Bachelors Degree from Western Michigan University. He married Sally Jo Runyan August 5, 1961 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. He had resided in Fenton most of his life. Dick retired in 1999 from The State Bank in Fenton after 30 plus years of service. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Dick loved downhill skiing, spending time on Silver Lake, hunting, and designing and building decks for his family and friends.
Surviving are: his wife, Sally Jo; daughter, Jennifer and husband Jonathan Wenzel of Fenton; grandchildren, Madeline and Mason Davis; brother, Russell and wife Faye Bagnall of Tennessee; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judith Ayotte. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
