RINGLEIN, Dennis W. - of Davison, age 74, passed peacefully into eternal life on June 23, 2016. A Memorial Mass celebrating Dennis’ life will take place at 11 AM Monday, July 18, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski and Rev. Fr. Bob McGraw concelebrating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Monday. Donations can be made to ALS of Michigan, St. John’s Food Pantry or St. John’s Building Fund.
Dennis was a U.S. Air Force veteran and master electrician (member of IBEW # 948). Throughout his life, Dennis showed his gentle and caring nature while serving others with his involvement in the Knights of Columbus, Marriage Encounter, Habitat for Humanity and St. John’s Food Pantry. Prior to his battle with ALS, Dennis was an active member of St. John’s Catholic Parish in Davison serving as an usher. He was an avid woodcarver with the Frankenmuth Woodcarvers Guild and the Davison Carving Club.
Dennis was blessed with two loving marriages, first to Rosalie (West), who preceded him in death in 1989 and then to his surviving wife of 26 years, Judith Plamondon. He is also survived by children, Sheryl (Rob) Whitcombe and Daniel, and children, through marriage Paul (Linda) Plamondon, Gail (John) Glowski, Andrew, (Maggie) Plamondon and Jennifer (Josh) Mulder; as well as 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn (Morrie) Studer and was preceded in death by his son, Darrin; brothers, Donald and Robert; sister, Dorothy.
