Lillian Mary Eleanor Marchand
of Frankfort, 80, died Sept 29, 2010 in Frankfort. She was born in Detroit, on Feb. 5, 1930 the daughter of Paul and Frances Leask. Lillian married Charles R. Marchand on May 1, 1947.
She was a dealer and owner of antiques. Lillian loved to try her luck with slot machines and lottery tickets. She found joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren, gardening, flowers and autumn colors. Lillian was known to be a very forthcoming or even blunt with her opinions; she was also a big hearted person.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Jack) Mills and Frances Denton; grandchildren, Paul (Denise) Hamilton, Stacy (Joesph) Demerly and Paula (Tim) Batzer; great grandchildren, Stephanie, Abby. Miranda, Mackenzi, Isabella Hamilton; Megan (John) Kanary, Ashley Crawford, Brandon, Dezyrae Batzer; great great grandchildren, Hannah Leigh Kanary.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM Saturday Oct 9 at St. Ann's Catholic church in Frankfort. Contributions may be directed to the family. Arrangements by Jowett Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service.
