TURNBOW, Debora “Debi” – of Clio, age 73, went peacefully to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Covenant Glen of Frankenmuth. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 2PM Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Messiah Lutheran Church – 520 Butler St., in Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10AM until the time of service at 2PM.
Debi was born July 9, 1950, in Flint, to the late Donald and Barbara (Vaillancourt) Vincent. She attended school in Flint. On November 22, 1969, she married Richard Turnbow, and together they shared 53 years of marriage. Richard preceded her in death on October 1, 2022. Deb worked at the Clio Library and the Uniform Outlet in Birch Run for some time but was most proud of being a stay-at-home mother for her daughter, Jennifer, and son, Trevor. She was very active in her church, Messiah Lutheran, where she volunteered her services in the choir and prayer circle. Debi enjoyed reading, and often read two books per day. If you couldn’t find her with her eyes on a good book, you could find her completing crossword puzzles or playing scrabble. Debora was a kind, gentle, yet spunky woman who was loved by many. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Debora is forever remembered by her Son, Trevor Turnbow; Grandson, Ben Turnbow; Sister, Priscilla Vincent; Extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Richard Turnbow; Daughter, Jennifer Turnbow (Morris); Parents, Donald and Barbara. |
