ALLEN, Shirley Ellen – of Lapeer, age 79, passed away April 10, 2013 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI; Pastor Nathan Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Dawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. -8 p.m. Friday and from 12-1 p.m. Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice, Flint.
Shirley was born in Clio, MI on March 27, 1934, daughter of the late Forrest and Lillian (Warner) Taylor. Shirley Ellen Taylor married Lawrence Allen on November 7, 1953 at Trinity Methodist Church, Clio. Lawrence preceded her in death on February 15, 2011.
Shirley is survived by her children, Linda Pincinsky, Matthew Miller, Terry Hazen, Larry Allen, Karolyn Habberashaw, Barbara Jean Gagnon, Paul Allen, Sue Ann Perna and Richard Allen; many grand children, great-grandchildren and siblings.
